Sinopsis:
Mauricio, the lifeguard, loves order. He believes that the best in his trade, is the one who never gets in the water, because he applies preventive measures to prevent swimmers from drowning. The problem is that beachgoers don’t want to listen to his rules, they only want to forget rules during their holidays. Therefore, on Chile’s most dangerous beach, no one wants to respect Mauricio, and he is not willing risk his life for those that ignore him. “The Lifeguard” is a candid social portrait, where everyone looks at each other openly, sharing spectacles and tragedies.
